Letter: Moorhead council like junior high school

It seems to me, the Moorhead City Council is similar to a junior high civics class. Their scope is small, their decision-making skills fleeting and everything they talk about is self-centered. When I read that they spent a meeting talking about what the city would do if they all died at once, and came up with a plan of action, well, I just about fell off my chair laughing! They would do a great favor to the city if they got some fresh new eyes on the council. The solution the council gave for the parking situation around the colleges is ridiculous.

I have never seen a city more determined to drive away its residents and new and existing businesses as Moorhead. Where is the obligation to the residents of the town? Good job, Moorhead City Council! Residents of Moorhead, I urge you to remember all the problems, increased rates on your Moorhead Public Service bill (with no increase in services) and all of these trying times at the next election.
