Wild Vine nightclub coming to The Hub in Fargo

FARGO – A “bumping, thumping” nightclub will soon take the place of The Hub’s House of Rock.

Construction work to convert the rock space into the Wild Vine nightclub started three weeks ago and is on target to be completed next week, said General Manager Dale Hein.

New dressings and treatments will be installed in two weeks to give the space a “jungle, safari chic” atmosphere, complete with a new dance floor, multiple levels and a VIP seating area.

“It’s all huge palm trees and giraffes, and it’s going to be very cool,” he said.

Hein said it’s a new venture for The Hub, a large entertainment complex with several bars, clubs and dining options at 2525 9th Ave. S.

“Fargo doesn’t have any real nightclubs, and that’s what we decided to aim towards,” he said. “It seems like a good fit for us and it seems like a good fit for our clientele.”

Hein said the full conversion to the Wild Vine is on track to be completed late this month or early next month, and a grand opening event is tentatively being planned for the second week of September.

The club will continue to host concerts Thursday nights after the change.

The House of Rock remains open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights while the conversion work continues.

Once complete, the Wild Vine will be open Wednesdays through Sundays.
