Letter: These two disturbances must be eliminated

In our present-day society, there are a couple of issues that are disturbing the human race. Although they affect different areas, they both produce outcomes that could be damaging to the advancement of the human race.

Abortion – the termination of a conceived life – causes human lives to end. If a child isn’t wanted, then perhaps abstinence should be practiced. But to those who don’t wish to practice abstinence, please consider these two thoughts: 1) choose life; your mom did, and 2) change two letters from abortion and you get adoption, a situation with a happier outcome.

The second issue is something some members of modern-day society call same-sex marriage. Since the beginning of creation, the institution of marriage was defined as the union between a man and a woman. You can’t add an adjective to describe something that is not possible.

In order for the human race to continue, these two disturbances should be halted. Offspring created from a male/female relationship should be prolific.
