Minn. Lottery verifying Powerball ticket
MINNEAPOLIS — Minnesota State Lottery officials are in the process of verifying whether a ticket presented at lottery headquarters is the winner of the state's share of the Powerball jackpot.
Lottery spokesman Debbie Hoffman says that once the ticket has been verified, a news conference will be announced. The time has not been scheduled.
The winning ticket was sold somewhere in Anoka County. Two other tickets for the $448.4 million jackpot were sold in New Jersey.
