High-risk sex offender moving to Detroit LakesDETROIT LAKES – A high-risk sex offender is moving here after being released from prison, police Chief Tim Eggebraten said in a news release Friday.
Robert Thomas Baca, 47, was convicted of second-degree criminal sexual conduct in 1997. His victim was a female stranger.
After that, he was also convicted in 2008 and again in 2010 of violating predatory offender registration laws, most recently for taking off his GPS tracking bracelet one day after his release from prison.
Eggebraten said Baca is moving Monday to the 300 block of Summit Avenue in Detroit Lakes.
