Main Ave. construction continues in MoorheadMOORHEAD – Crews will begin work today on traffic signal and pedestrian accessibility improvements on Main Avenue at Seventh Street here. Work is also planned on the southwest corner of the intersection of Main Avenue and Eighth Street.
Eastbound traffic on Main Avenue from Sixth Street through Eighth Street will experience lane closures. Sidewalk detours will also be required.
Also today, the intersection of Fourth Street and Main Avenue and the adjacent Fourth Street railroad crossing will reopen.
The intersection includes new signals with yellow flashing arrows. The arrows allow motorists to make a left turn after yielding to oncoming traffic.
