Enderlin, LaMoure capture championships

ENDERLIN, N.D. – Starting pitcher Thomas Lindgren struck out 13 batters for Enderlin during a 16-4, six-inning win over Kindred in the championship of the North Dakota Class B, Section 1 American Legion baseball tournament on Saturday.

Spencer Gillund batted

4-for-5 with three doubles and four RBIs for Enderlin, which advances to the state tournament in Beulah with the win.

Earlier, Kindred used home runs from Christian Danielson and Fletcher Andel to force a deciding game with an 11-7 victory over Enderlin.

LISBON, N.D. – LaMoure defeated Libson twice on Saturday to capture the North Dakota Class B, Section 2 American Legion baseball championship.

LaMoure set the tone early in Game 1 and cruised to an 11-4 victory.

In Game 2, LaMoure’s big inning came in the sixth when it scored four runs en route to a 10 -3 win.
