Hires and promotions - 07/27/13Two new physicians join Essentia Health
Dr. Scott Reardon, an interventional radiologist, has joined Essentia Health’s 32nd Avenue Clinic, and Dr. Matthew Whitbeck, an interventional cardiologist, has joined Essentia Health’s Heart and Vascular Center, both in Fargo.
Reardon earned a medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency and an interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Minnesota. He did an additional fellowship in body radiology and cross-sectional imaging at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.
Whitbeck earned a medical degree from St. Christopher Iba Mar Diop College of Medicine in Luton, England. He served an internal medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center and completed a general cardiology fellowship at the University of Kentucky, Lexington, and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Wake Forest University, Winston-Salem, N.C.
Impact procurement center hires Olson
Tanner Olson has joined the Impact Procurement Technical Assistance Center in Fargo as a procurement specialist.
PTAC is a partnership of the Impact Foundation, North Dakota Commerce Department and Dakota Certified Development Corp.
Olson has prior experience as a leader in the construction and retail industries. A native of Moorhead, he is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management.
Two hired at High Point Networks in West Fargo
High Point Networks has hired Chip Bartunek as a project manager and Colin Carpenter as a service desk technician at the company’s corporate office in West Fargo.
Bartunek has 15 years of project management experience in the industry. He is a certified project management professional and is a graduate of North Dakota State University. He was previously employed by Sanford Health, Fargo.
Carpenter is a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. He was previously employed by Allied Building Products, Fargo.
New team members at RDO Equipment Co.
RDO Equipment Co., Fargo, has hired Tonia King as an accountant, Lisa Knobloch as a human resources generalist and Deb Luick is an accounts receivable representative.
King was most recently employed at U.S. Bank. She has an associate degree from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Moorhead.
Knobloch previously worked at Tecta America. She graduated from Concordia College with a bachelor’s degree and earned a master’s degree in human resources from Loyola University.
Luick was most recently employed at U.S. Bank. She received an associate degree from the North Dakota State College of Science.
Pediatric Therapy Partners hires two
Pediatric Therapy Partners, 3060 Frontier Way S., Fargo, has hired Lora Rogness as a speech therapist and Karen Rowcliffe as an insurance specialist.
Rogness received a bachelor’s degree in speech-language hearing sciences and a master’s degree in speech-language pathology, both from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Rowcliffe earned a bachelor’s degree in child development and family science from North Dakota State University. She has several years of experience in the medical insurance industry with a focus on customer service and claims processing.
Accounting firm hires Korth as supervisor
Gail Korth has joined the Fargo office of Fiebiger, Swanson, West & Co. as a supervisor, specializing in farm taxation, sole proprietors, partnerships and corporations.
She graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She received a certified public accountant certification from North Dakota in 2009.
Korth has prior experience as a senior tax specialist at AgCountry Farm Credit Services in Wahpeton, N.D.
Samuel Hernandez promoted to corporal
Samuel Hernandez has been promoted to corporal with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office.
Hernandez has served with the sheriff’s office since 2008. He will be assigned to the Cass County Jail in Fargo.
Bell State Bank hires Kobbervig, Bares
Michael Kobbervig has been hired as senior vice president/retirement division manager at Bell State Bank & Trust in Fargo, and Denise Bares has been hired as vice president/relationship manager at Bell State Bank & Trust in Bismarck.
Kobbervig, originally from Valley City, N.D., earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and has been in the retirement planning field for 16 years. He spent 15 years at Alerus Financial and one year with his own business, Strategic Financial.
Bares is a native of Underwood, N.D., and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead. She has more than 15 years of experience working with retirement plans.
Soule promoted to curriculum coordinator
Gina Soule has been promoted to curriculum coordinator/preschool teacher at the Boys & Girls Club of the Red River Valley and Youth Commission, Fargo.
She is a native of Fargo and has a degree in human services.
AgCountry hires Vigen as technology trainer
Molly Vigen has joined AgCountry Farm Credit Services in Fargo as a technology trainer. She was previously employed as an IT trainer at Sanford Health in Fargo.
Vigen has degrees in management information systems, business administration and computer science from North Dakota State University.

Sanford hires 17 new medical professionals
Sanford Health in Fargo has hired 17 physicians and other medical professionals. New physicians are:
Karim Rashid, anesthesiology; Ryan Agema and Alicia Glynn, emergency medicine; Shahh Parves, anesthesiology; Russell Wilke, Jantey Carey, Vitaliy Starosta, April Hess and Mannuru Devendranath, internal medicine; David Rubin, oral and maxillofacial surgery; Kari Casas, genetics; Adam Jackson, neurosurgery; and Joyoti Saha, obstetrics and gynecology.
Other medical professionals are: Amber Szczepanski, certified registered nurse anesthetist, anesthesiology; and Lena Hochstein, nurse practitioner, nephrology.
TMI hires Smith as project coordinator
TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Tim Smith as telecommunications project coordinator.
Smith graduated from Newcastle University in Newcastle upon Tyne, U.K., with a master’s degree in ancient history. He previously served as senior help desk technician for True Blue, Tacoma, Wash., and as a Sharepoint online technician for Microsoft in Fargo.
New Men’s Hair House site opens; 5 promoted
Men’s Hair House has opened a new location at The Shoppes of Osgood in Fargo.
The hair salon has also promoted five employees. Bari Behling has been promoted to regional manager for the Men’s Hair House, overseeing locations in North Dakota. She is a graduate of The Salon Professional Academy, Fargo, and has nine years of experience in the hair styling industry. Behling and has been with Men’s Hair House since the opening of the West Fargo location in 2011. She will oversee the new Osgood location as well as the south Fargo, West Fargo and Bismarck locations.
Brittany Cantleberry has been with Men’s Hair House since 2011 and has been the manager at the south Fargo location since opening in June 2012. She graduated from Josef’s School of Hair Design, Fargo.
Candace Ross has been with Men’s Hair House since 2012 and has been the manager at the West Fargo location since February. She graduated from The Salon Professional Academy.
Brigette Devaney graduated from Josef’s School of Hair Design and has been with Men’s Hair House since 2012. She is the manager of the newly opened Osgood location.
Tilla Wiseman has been the manager of the Bismarck location since December. She is a graduate of the Bismarck Hair Academy and has been with Men’s Hair House since the location opened in 2011.
RLE Group adds interior designer to staff
The RLE Group, an architecture, forensics, interior design and marketing firm in Fargo, has added Manda Miller to its staff as an interior designer.
She graduated from Alexandria (Minn.) Technical and Community College with an associate’s degree in interior design.
Wanzek Construction hires 2, promotes one
Wanzek Construction, Fargo, has hired Tara Kessler in its marketing and communications team and Joshua Harrison as an information technology support analyst. Wanzek also promoted Bryce Peterson to director of equipment operations.
Kessler has more than 10 years of marketing, communications and graphic design experience. She has a degree in graphic communications from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
Harrison previously worked in the IT department at Valley City (N.D.) State University. He has a degree in mathematics from VCSU.
Peterson joined Wanzek over five years ago as an assistant equipment operations manager and previously held the position of equipment operations manager. He has a degree in business administration from Mayville (N.D.) State University.
Dr. Bill Johnson joins Smile Solutions, Fargo
Dr. Bill Johnson has joined the Smile Solutions dental practice at 1910 42nd St. S., Fargo.
Johnson is a graduate of North Dakota State University and received a doctorate of dental surgery degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
