Fargo sobriety checkpoint announcedFARGO – The Fargo Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint somewhere in the city sometime between today and July 31.
Since October 2004, Fargo police have conducted 58 sobriety checkpoints that resulted in 173 DUI arrests.
The latest checkpoint will be the third conducted this summer by Fargo police.
The checkpoints are funded in part through grants, with the aim of deterring drunk driving and ultimately saving lives.
