Fargo police investigate after 15-year-old boy shot in forearmFARGO – Police here are investigating after a 15-year-old boy was hospitalized Monday night with a gunshot wound to his lower forearm.
Lt. Joel Vettel said police received a call of the boy being to Essentia Health at about 8 p.m. Monday.
Police believe the shooting happened in the 600 block of 23rd Street South, near Community Homes.
Though officers were not able to talk with the boy much on Monday night, due to treatment he was receiving, Vettel said it appears the shooting was accidental.
