‘Cruise to Casselton’ car show set for ThursdayCASSELTON, N.D. — The Swanks Car Club has scheduled its 11th annual “Cruise to Casselton” car show starting at 5 p.m. Thursday in downtown Casselton.
Last year, the cruise drew nearly 300 classic automobiles displayed throughout the community’s business district.
Featured this year will be the Storm Truck, a completely customized 2012 Chevy Silverado owned by online truck accessory retailer RealTruck of Jamestown, N.D.
The Storm Truck debuted last year at the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, the world’s largest automotive show.
Swanks Car Club member Jim Foss, owner of Casselton-based Foss Shop body shop, did all the custom exterior work on the Storm Truck.
This year’s Swank’s Car Club show will feature live music by “Little Donny and the Groove Tones.” Car show entrants will receive dash plaques and free prizes.
