MSUM Summer Cinema Series continues through JulyMOORHEAD – The 37th season of Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Summer Cinema Series continues through July, with two more screenings scheduled.
“The Black Pirate,” a 1926 silent action adventure film about a young nobleman whose father is killed by pirates, will be shown on July 22. The film features Douglas Fairbanks.
On July 29, the series will close with a selection of silent comedy short films by Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd and Laurel & Hardy. Treats will be served in the hallway following the screening.
All films are screened in Weld Hall on the MSUM campus and start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $4 per movie and are available at the door.
Pre-show organ music performed by Red River Chapter members of the American Theatre Organ Society begins at 7:15.
