North Dakota tornado rated at weakest levelBISMARCK – The National Weather Service has rated a tornado that caused damage in Morton County in south-central North Dakota at EF0 on the enhanced Fujita scale.
That is the weakest rating for a tornado, with wind speeds between 65 mph and 85 mph.
The weather service said the tornado touched down Tuesday north of Sweet Briar Lake, damaging or destroying three barns and two grain bins on a farmstead. No injuries were reported.
