Style Profile: Makeup artist favors classic style with twist
The Shanley High School graduate who works at Sephora is a freelance makeup artist who’ll attend Concordia College in the fall.
I spotted Schneider downtown at Nichole’s Fine Pastry in her summer-appropriate ensemble sipping an iced Americano.
Describe your style. Classic with a twist.
What are you wearing today? Jeans from Urban Outfitters, sandals by Marc Jacobs, top from JCPenney, Michael Kors watch, earrings and rings, Proper & Prim ring, and Longchamp bag.
What influences your style? Before anything, I’m an artist so color is a big inspiration for me.
I also like blogs and vlogs. I follow Fleur De Force (www.fleurde
force.blogspot.com) for her makeup and fashion tips.
You’re an artist. What type of art do you like? Surrealism.
Where do you shop? Asos, Nasty Gal, Zara, Topshop, Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Nordstrom and J. Crew.
Who are your style icons? Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
What’re your favorite things in your closet? Black skinny jeans by BDG from Urban Outfitters and my Michael Kors watch.
What three makeup products are essential for summer? NARS Niagara lipstick – I’m loving coral for summer, Tarte’s Amazonian Clay blushes because they don’t come off, and a highlighter by Dior.
Do you have an ultimate makeup tip? Don’t try to look like anyone other than yourself.
