Fargo to use BlueTOAD Travel-Time SystemFARGO – The North Dakota Department of Transportation will be trying out a new system here to give drivers a real-time view of traffic in a construction zone on Interstate 94.
NDDOT’s Fargo district is running a trial of the BlueTOAD travel time system in the I-94 concrete pavement repair project in Fargo. The real-time speed map technology will monitor travel times and road speeds from South University Drive to Ninth Street in West Fargo.
By accessing the traffic speed map, motorists will be able to view the speed of travel and traffic levels to estimate the time to travel from one side of the work zone to the other.
