Weekend Watch: Streets Alive in downtown Fargo
Get off your couch and hit the streets on Sunday. Streets Alive, which runs from noon-5 p.m. in downtown Fargo, encourages people to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The event will be headquartered at the US Bank Plaza downtown, where information, T-shirts and a photo opportunity will be available. Other street activities include a live fencing demonstration from the F-M Fencing Club, street soccer, hula hooping at the corner of First Avenue North and Broadway, riding a five-seat bike at Great Northern Bicycle Co. and more.
Healthy concessions will be available in the Civic Center parking lot along First Avenue North, and healthy living-focused exhibitors will set up at Davy Memorial Park, 210 8th St. N. in Moorhead. A full schedule of events and locations can be found at www.fmstreetsalive.org.
