Interstate 94 work shortens merge pointsFARGO – Interstate 94 merge points have been shortened at all on-ramps to eastbound I-94 in the Fargo area, the state Department of Transportation stated Monday in a news release.
The agency also stated the third lane – just off the tri-level ramp at southbound I-29 and eastbound I-94 – is now closed.
NDDOT said the closures will likely create significant delays for motorists, especially where traffic is exiting the tri-level ramp and merging with eastbound I-94 traffic.
Motorists on southbound I-29 will see congestion while traffic is entering the tri-level ramp during peak traffic hours.
The 40 mph speed limit remains in effect.
