Kim and LaVon Whipple, Fargo, Published July 06 2013
Letter: Thanks from Whipple familyA year after Kim’s treatment at Mayo, our family would like to thank everyone for the support we have received before and after Kim’s bone marrow transplant. Kim is doing well and walking 4-5 miles a day.
After a one-year “birthday” of Kim’s transplant, the checkup at Mayo shows that Kim is cancer-free, and we are so grateful.
We would like to thank the staff at North Dakota State University for donated time so that we were able to be together in Rochester for four months. We would also like to thank NDSU Barry Hall coffee-shop customers, student employees and our community and friends for the monetary donations, support and prayers that have been sent our way.
For the Whipple family.
