North Dakota man accused of attacking girlfriend with knifeMINOT, N.D. — A North Dakota man is facing two assault charges for allegedly attacking his girlfriend with a knife.
Randall Lewis Davis Jr. is charged in federal court with assault with a dangerous weapon and domestic assault by a habitual offender. He has pleaded not guilty.
Authorities say the assault occurred on April 3. No further details were available.
The habitual offender charge stems from two previous convictions for Davis in Turtle Mountain Tribal Court, in November 2010 and December 2011.
Trial is scheduled for Aug. 27.
