ND Highway Patrol to saturate Cass, Stustsman counties to combat drinking and drivingThe South East Region of the North Dakota Highway Patrol will be saturating Cass County and Stutsman County during the evening and overnight hours July 8 through 14, according to a release from the Highway Patrol.
Extra troopers will patrol both areas in an effort to deter and arrest impaired drivers.
Sixty-Seven people have died in traffic crashes on North Dakota roadways in 2013. Twenty-five people have died in alcohol-related crashes.
The primary purpose of this saturation event is to deter drinking and driving, the release said.
