Bloomington woman seriously injured in rollover near WaubunWAUBUN, Minn. – A rollover crash on Highway 113 this morning left a Bloomington woman with serious injuries, the State Patrol reported.
Megan A. Mails, 19, was driving a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer eastbound on Highway 113 about 9:49 a.m., the Patrol reported.
Mails was east of Waubun when her SUV went off the road onto the right shoulder, the Patrol reported. She then overcorrected and the vehicle rolled. It then caught on fire, the Patrol reported.
A Patrol spokeswoman said Mails was taken by ambulance to Mahnomen Health Center.
An MHC spokesman said Mails was not admitted, but immediately flown from the hospital by LifeFlight air ambulance helicopter to Sanford Hospital in Fargo.
No further information was immediately available on her condition.
The Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the accident scene.
