Anderson recognized as ‘DWI Enforcer All-Star’MINNEAPOLIS – Minnesota’s law enforcement “DWI Enforcer All-Stars” were recognized at the Minnesota Twins baseball game here Thursday night.
The officers were selected for outstanding service in enforcement and in prosecution of drunken driving.
Among this year’s 34 All-Stars was Chad Anderson of the Moorhead Police Department, who had 63 DWI arrests in 2012.
Last year in Minnesota, drunken-driving crashes accounted for 104 deaths or 26 percent of the state’s total traffic deaths. In 2012, 28,418 motorists were arrested for DWI.
