2 injured when motorcycle veers to avoid dog near Reynolds, N.D.

GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Two people were injured Wednesday night when the motorcycle they were riding crashed near Reynolds, N.D.

According to the Highway Patrol:

Aaron Schultz, 37, of Fergus Falls, Minn., was eastbound on Traill County Road 25 on his way to Grand Forks from Reynolds when a dog walked into the path of the motorcycle.

Schultz swerved to avoid the dog and the motorcycle crashed, throwing Schultz and a passenger, Josie Norgren, also of Fergus Falls, from the bike.

Both were taken to Altru Hospital with unknown injuries, the Highway Patrol said.

The crash remains under investigation.
