Elder Abuse Awareness Summit set WednesdayMOORHEAD – The annual Clay County Elder Abuse Awareness Day Summit is set from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday here at the Hjemkomst Center.
The morning session will include presentations by Hubert “Skip” Humphrey, assistant director of the Office of Older Americans, on financial exploitation of elders, and Matt Greenley, assistant U.S. attorney, on investigation and prosecution of Medicare fraud.
The afternoon session features topics on fraud and scams against seniors.
The afternoon also will include a session on investigating and prosecuting financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult, which is open to criminal justice and other professionals.
