Dixie Chicks sisters play Fargo TheatreFARGO – Emily Robison and Martie Maguire of the Dixie Chicks bring their side project, Court Yard Hounds, to the Fargo Theatre on Aug. 1 as part of Bud Light’s 50/50/1 national event. The project presents one concert in each of the 50 states, all on Aug. 1.
The country group features guitarist and banjo player Robison on lead vocals, backed by Maguire on fiddle. The sisters started Court Yard Hounds in 2009 while the Dixie Chicks were on hiatus and released a self-titled debut the next year.
The group releases its second album “Amelita” in July. The first single is “Sunshine”.
Striking Matches opens the show at 8 p.m.
