ND fall turkey license deadline pushed backBISMARCK — The deadline for hunters to apply for a fall wild turkey license in North Dakota is being moved from July to August.
The state Game and Fish Department says the move will provide more time for officials to assess the turkey population before determining license numbers.
The deadline had been July 3. A specific date in August for the application deadline has not yet been set.
The fall season opens in mid-October.
