Tiny ND oil patch town of Epping could soon growEPPING, N.D. — Two developers are hoping to build near the small northwestern North Dakota community of Epping.
Census data show that only about 100 people live in the oil patch town northeast of Williston. But the Williston Herald reports that developer Gary Dixon is proposing a subdivision that could include up to 750 homes, and developer Joe LaFave is working on a project to build homes on large lots for retirees.
LaFave's project is in the early stages, but Dixon has submitted his plans to county officials for review.
