WF has up-and-down day at Legion baseball tournament

OMAHA, Neb. – West Fargo split a pair of games at the Battle of Omaha American Legion baseball tournament Friday.

Andy Young’s two-run homer was all the offense West Fargo had in a 7-2 loss to Lincoln Puis.

Young hit another home run as West Fargo topped Branson 8-3.

Landon Uetz picked up the win on the mound with a complete-game, four-hitter and was 3-for-5 from the plate.

West Monroe defeated West Fargo 4-3 in eight innings late Thursday night.
