American Federal names personal banker

Chris Grettum has been named a personal banker at American Federal. He will work at the branch at 1301 30th Ave. S., Fargo.

Grettum has eight years of experience in the consumer finance industry and four years of experience in branch management. He was the assistant vice president at OneMain Financial in Grand Forks and was also a customer service representative at the U.S. Bank Service Center in Fargo.

He is a graduate of Fargo South High School and the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

The Chamber hires Peterson, promotes one

Elly Peterson has joined the staff of the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber as administrative services coordinator.

The Chamber has also promoted Gail Petersen to membership relations coordinator.

Peterson is a graduate of North Dakota State University and recently completed a four month internship with The Chamber as public affairs intern.

Petersen previously served as administrative services coordinator with The Chamber for over two and years.

RLE Group hires Briggs, Hegseth as technicians

The RLE Group, Fargo, has hired Ward Briggs and Jon Hegseth as CAD/Revit technicians.

Briggs is in the architecture program at North Dakota State University and will graduate in 2014 with a master’s degree in architecture.

Hegseth is attending the Dunwoody College of Technology, Minneapolis, where he is pursuing an associate degree.

Riggs joins construction firm as project manager

Olaf Anderson Construction, Fargo, has hired Phil Riggs as a project manager.

He has five years of experience as a project manager with Colarelli Construction, Colorado Springs, Colo.

Riggs is a native of Woodridge, Ill, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business with a minor in construction management from Colorado State University, Fort Collins.

Ellingson, Ulrich join TMI Hospitality in Fargo

TMI Hospitality, Fargo, has hired Dane Ellingson as project plan coordinator and Gerry Ulrich as telecommunications project coordinator.

Ellingson graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Detroit Lakes, with an associate degree in architectural drafting technology. He previously worked as a framer for Bristlin Construction, Detroit Lakes.

Ulrich was previously a senior technician for Cable One, Fargo.

Larson named VP of consumer banking

Kevin Larson has joined Choice Financial as a vice president of consumer banking at the bank’s solutions center in Fargo.

Larson has more than 35 years of banking experience with areas of expertise in consumer lending management, financial operations, regulatory compliance, risk management, indirect dealer marketing and collections.

He most recently was an independent consultant providing counsel on automation and centralization products to assist with efficiencies in lending operations. He also previously worked for Bank of the West as senior vice president/loan production manager.

Cass County sheriff promotes 2 to sergeant

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office has promoted Jon Morse and Katie Jacobson to sergeant.

Morse has been with the Sheriff’s Office since 2002 and Jacobson has been with the office since 2007. Both will be assigned to the Cass County Jail in Fargo.

Cornerstone Bank hires assistant loan processor

Laura Zito has joined Cornerstone Bank in Fargo as an assistant mortgage loan processor.

She has more than five years of customer service experience.

NDSU hires McGinnis as Extension horticulturist

Esther McGinnis has joined the North Dakota State University Plant Sciences Department as an Extension Service horticulturist and assistant professor.

McGinnis graduated from Concordia College with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy. She graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School and practiced law for nine years in St. Paul and later graduated from the University of Minnesota with a master’s degree in applied plant sciences.

Jordan Kelly hired as in-charge accountant

Jordan Kelly has joined the staff of Fiebiger, Swanson, West & Co. in Fargo-Moorhead as an in-charge accountant, focusing primarily on audits, reviews and compilations of for-profit businesses and nonprofit organizations as well as tax returns for nonprofit organizations.

He graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in accountancy. He earned his certified public account designation in 2011. Kelly worked as an auditor for a CPA firm in the Twin Cities before returning to the F-M area.

Troy Kind named GM of RDO’s core accounts

RDO Equipment Co., Fargo, has named Troy Kind general manager

of core accounts.

Kind joined RDO Equipment in 1999. During his time with the company, he has served in several store and regional management positions, most recently as regional sales manager for core accounts.

He is a graduate of North Dakota State University.

Nardini Fire Equipment hires alarm tech

Mike Nerby has joined Nardini Fire Equipment in Fargo as a fire alarm technician.

Nerby, originally from Fargo, is a graduate of Fargo North High School. He most recently worked at Aevenia.

NDSCS hires VP for administrative affairs

The North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, has hired Dennis Gladen, of Wahpeton, as vice president for administrative affairs.

Gladen has held management positions at Imation Corp. in Wahpeton for the past 17 years including magnetic products RD&E, manufacturing director and plant manager. Prior to his employment at Imation, he worked for 3M Corp. as production and engineering manager.

Gladen has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, and he received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.

Pediatric Therapy Partners hires Peloubet

Cathy Peloubet has joined Pediatric Therapy Partners, Fargo, as an office assistant.

She re-ceived a bachelor’s degree in exercise science with a minor in business administration from North Dakota State University. She has experience in the health care field as a nursing aide, chiropractic aid, office assistant and cardiac technician.

Western State Bank hires Brian Ruliffson

Brian Ruliffson has joined Western State Bank, Fargo, as the real estate lending manager.

He has more than 10 years of experience in underwriting. He previously served as an underwriter/real estate loan manager for Sacramento (Calif.) Credit Union.

Ruliffson is originally from Mapleton, N.D.

Mane Impressions hires fashion stylist

Mane Impressions Styling Salon and Boutique, Moorhead, has hired Monica Gartner as a retail associate and fashion stylist.

Gartner is from California and has more than 10 years of experience as a celebrity stylist in television and film.

Catholic Charities hires Parries, Johnson

Catholic Charities North Dakota has hired Elizabeth “Liz” Parries as an accounting assistant and Shawna Johnson as the administrative assistant for the Adults Adopting Special Kids program. Both will work in the Fargo office.

Parries graduated from Northwest Technical College with an associate degree in accounting. She previously worked for 11 years at Drayton Foods.

Johnson received an administrative assistant diploma from Rasmussen College in Mankato, Minn. She previously worked as a loan processor for Bremer Bank.

General Equipment and Supplies hires two

General Equipment and Supplies, Fargo, has hired Angela Bigelow as warranty administrator and Tina Flach as advertising and marketing manager.

Bigelow was previously a service adviser at Valley Imports in Fargo. Originally from Woodbury, Minn., she attended Concordia College.

Flach was previously a marketing specialist at Titan Machinery, Fargo. She is originally from West Fargo and studied graphic design at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Stevens promoted to VP of ShareHouse in Fargo

Connie Stevens has been promoted to vice president of ShareHouse, Fargo.

Stevens has been director of clinical services at ShareHouse since 2005. She earned a master’s degree in guidance and counseling from North Dakota State University. She is a North Dakota licensed addiction counselor, Minnesota licensed alcohol and drug counselor and was president of the Fargo Training Consortium for eight years.

She has been employed at ShareHouse since 2005.

Sundog hires Satrom, Comer in Fargo office

Sundog, Fargo, has hired Lindsay Satrom as a business analyst and Tina Comer as a project manager.

Satrom has 11 years of experience in the marketing and technology industries, spending the past eight years in various positions at Target Corp. After earning a bachelor’s degree in finance and computer information systems from Minnesota State University Moorhead, she earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota, with an emphasis in marketing and international business.

Comer has 17 years of experience in the account services and marketing industries. She was previously the marketing team lead at WellPoint. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and advertising with a minor in marketing from Ball State University.

DakTech promotes Kelly, hires Eaton

DakTech Computers, Fargo, has promoted Michael Kelly to director of business development and has hired Douglas Eaton as a regional account manager.

Kelly is a Fargo native and has been a DakTech sales leader since 1997. Eaton will be responsible for sales in Michigan, Maine, Ohio and Vermont. He is a native of Thief River Falls, Minn., and a graduate of North Dakota State University.
