Business briefs - 06/22/13Gate City Bank begins renovation project
Gate City Bank has started a renovation project on the sixth floor at the bank’s corporate office building at 500 2nd Ave. N., Fargo.
The remodeling project will create a modern collaborative work environment. When complete, the work will continue to the building’s other floors.
The design incorporates an open office design with floor-to-ceiling windows, an active lounge that encourages communication and efficiency, and is adaptable to operational changes and advancements in technology.
Young entrepreneur camp set July 15-19
The annual Entrepreneurship Summer Camp for children ages 9-13 will be July 15-19 at the North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton.
The program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and includes breakfast and lunch. Students will organize into an entrepreneurial community, create their own currency, elect leaders, recognize economic opportunities and start up their own businesses.
By the end of the camp, the students will be smarter about economics, personal finance, business, leadership and citizenship.

7-Day Clinic opens new site in north Fargo
7-Day Clinic has opened a new clinic at 1100 19th Ave. N., Fargo. A Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday.
As part of the grand opening, the clinic will offer free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings at the new location next week from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Grand opening July 1 at Tracy’s Salon in Fargo
Tracy’s Salon, 508 Broadway, Fargo, will host a grand opening on July 1.
The business is owned by Tracy Stebleton, who has 20 years of experience in the salon industry.
