Corps sets meetings for flood diversion updates

ST. PAUL – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Centennial Hall at the Fargo Civic Center to discuss the latest environmental assessment for the Fargo-Moorhead Metropolitan Area Flood Risk Management Plan.

The corps has also scheduled a meeting at 5:30 p.m. June 26 at the Harwood (N.D.) Community Center to update potentially affected landowners within the northern reaches 1-3 of the project. This meeting will specifically update landowners on the design of the diversion channel, transportation plan, local drainage and project timelines as part of the ongoing preconstruction engineering and design phase.
