Packing cubes are effective as a cure for suitcase woes

FARGO – Airport security aside, packing and unpacking tend to be the least enjoyable part of vacation.

For me, the hardest part is trying to jam too much in; for my husband, it’s keeping everything organized and neat.

But as we planned our first trip of the summer, my mom found just what we needed in a set of eBags Packing Cubes.

The set of three includes a small, medium and large cube made of nylon and mesh with a zipper enclosure along the top, similar to a suitcase.

The largest size is perfect for pants and dresses, while the medium size is great for shirts. The smallest fits underwear and socks for a weeklong trip.

The cubes, which retail for about $25 from outlets like Amazon.com, fit snugly in a carry-on size suitcase, and when packed, cut down on wrinkles.

When you arrive at your destination, it’s easy to grab one shirt, pair of pants and undergarments out of each cube and head out on your day. There’s no more digging through your entire suitcase and repacking it afterward.

Bottom line: Stay organized and take the work out of packing and unpacking with these packing cubes.
