Fargo man arrested in aggravated assault case; woman says she woke up with noose around neckFARGO – Fargo police have arrested a Fargo man in connection with an assault that happened about 7 Tuesday morning in the Riviera Heights Mobile Home Park in the 1000 block of Gibraltor Avenue, police said.
The victim told police she was knocked unconscious by someone she had a previous relationship with.
The woman said when she woke up there was a noose around her neck.
The woman was taken to a hospital to be checked out for injuries that included a contusion on her head.
Fargo police located the suspect at his job and he agreed to go to the police station to answer questions.
The suspect, identified as Christopher A. Marino, 50, was later arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, police said.
