Letter: One of the best restaurants is in MoorheadMuch has been written lately about North Dakota being open for business, the lack of Moorhead restaurants and the difficulty with finding out why.
But Moorhead can boast about having one of the first and still the very best non-franchise restaurants in the entire area, right in downtown Moorhead. It is Sarellos, and readers of The Forum already know its owners, Tony and Sarah Nasello, whose column appears as “Home with the Lost Italian.”
This hometown jewel should not be overlooked any more than it should be taken for granted. Tony and Sarah have used Sarellos to greatly benefit both Moorhead and Fargo. They have opened Sarellos as a fundraiser for the FM Opera once a year for what will be the eighth year June 10. By doing so, the FM Opera has received several hundred thousand dollars in operating support.
