Ex-Bison player Lopez hired to coach Oak GroveFARGO – Former North Dakota State and Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton volleyball standout Jennifer Lopez is making the transition into coaching.
Lopez, a multiple-time All-Summit League team honoree while playing for the Bison, has been named head coach at Fargo Oak Grove High School. The school announced the hire on Saturday.
“I am looking forward to the opportunity of working with the athletes at Oak Grove and being a part of the faculty and staff,” Lopez said in a release issued by Oak Grove.
Lopez played at NDSU from 2008-11 and helped the Bison to three NCAA tournament appearances. She played primarily as a setter and posted 3,223 assists in her career.
