Fulbright Scholar from UND will study climate changeGRAND FORKS — A University of North Dakota professor is the school's first aerospace faculty member to earn a Fulbright Scholar Award.
Assistant professor Rebecca Romsdahl has been selected to conduct research on climate change and policy in the United Kingdom.
Romsdahl will analyze her finding in the UK with similar data collected in the U.S. to compare plans for climate change.
Romsdahl says climate change is the “greatest threat facing humanity in the 21st century.”
The six-month Fulbright fellowship will begin at Lancaster on Sept. 1. Romsdahl's husband, Michael Beltz, a UND faculty member in philosophy and religion, will accompany his wife and teach his courses online.
