Namedroppers (June 8)NDSU NEWS: North Dakota State University has awarded scholarships to the following area students: Keith Lehman, son of Martin and Susan Lehman, Fargo, $500 Freshman Academic Scholarship and $2,000 Henry and Em Eggert Honors Scholarship; Eric Haugen, son of Richard and Jan Haugen, West Fargo, $2,500 Freshman Academic Scholarship and $2,000 Honor Award; Ashley Drewlow, daughter of Kenneth and Roxanne Drewlow, Fargo, $2,000 Freshman Academic Scholarship, $2,000 Henry and Em Honors Scholarship and $1,000 Carroll D. and Maud Murray King Scholarship; and Thomas Askew, son of Joe and Lori Askew, Fargo, $500 Freshman Academic Scholarship and $1,000 First Year Textbook Scholarship; and Thomas Ugelstad, son of Bruce and Sheri Ugelstad, Fargo, $10,000 Presidential Honor Scholarship.
CONCORDIA NEWS: Concordia College has awarded Andrea Chevalier, daughter of Jim and LeAnn Chevalier, Fargo, an Excellence Scholarship.
INTERNS AND PAGES: Pedigree Technologies has hired Minnesota State University Moorhead students Tarun Gambhir as a web application engineering intern and Meredith Wathne as a marketing intern. Gambhir is studying computer science and Wathne is studying mass communications.

SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS: Several area students have been awarded college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships. Officials of each sponsor college selected winners from among the finalists in the 2013 National Merit Scholarship Program who plan to attend their institution.
