35 Under 35 celebrates group's graduation

FARGO - Six months, dozens of speakers and 35 women under the age of 35 came together for one afternoon of celebrating young female professionals.

The United Way’s 35 Under 35 program wrapped up its 2013 session Thursday with a graduation ceremony recognizing the young female leaders who took part.

For the past six months, the group met monthly for sessions focusing on various issues pertinent to young female leaders.

Each session is led and presented by local leaders and include topics such as public speaking, interpersonal skills, philanthropy, mentorship, communication, visioning, business etiquette, networking and more.

A portion of the curriculum focuses on public speaking. Three graduates, Kimberly Busch, Jen Engquist and Bobbiann Froemke, gave speeches Thursday after being selected by their peers to serve as the keynote speakers.
