Force's Johnson commits to UND hockeyFARGO – Fargo Force goaltender Cam Johnson has committed to the University of North Dakota and will begin his college career in the fall of 2014.
“I was really excited when I got approached from North Dakota because they are one of the premier schools of college hockey, who send a lot of players to the NHL,” Johnson said in a press release. “I was thrilled to accept their offer.”
In Johnson’s first season with the Force he played in 28 games and posted a 14-8-6 record, while averaging 3.07 goals against with a .909 save percentage.
In eight playoff games, he had a 4-3-1 record with a 2.40 goals against average and a .931 save percentage.
