More than 500 compete in ND Special Olympics

FARGO – More than 500 athletes gathered in Fargo over the weekend to compete in the North Dakota Special Olympics.

The two-day games started Friday. The games include volleyball, swimming and track and field events.

Karen Miller, of Grand Forks, says Special Olympics are all about having a great time.

The athletes were competing to represent North Dakota in the 2014 Special Olympics national games in New Jersey.
