Girl’s art chosen as Street Fair image
Images of the winning piece show up in everything from promotional brochures to T-shirts worn by fair volunteers.
This year, the contest invited kindergarten through fifth-grade students from the Fargo-Moorhead area to submit works of art that incorporated an architectural element from Fargo’s downtown.
This year’s winner is Madelyn Netz, a fourth-grader at L.E. Berger Elementary in West Fargo, and her winning drawing was unveiled Friday at a news conference hosted by the Downtown Community Partnership.
