Project Night-Light will be the benefitting charity for the RDO Caters Taters for Charity event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Doublewood Inn, Fargo.
Project Night-Light is based in the Fargo-Moorhead community and provides children in the region with a “Bag of Hope” when they are examined at local children’s advocacy centers for sexual abuse, physical abuse or neglect. Each bag contains a blanket, pajamas and a flashlight.
This year marks the 14th anniversary of the Caters Taters luncheon event which has raised more than $270,000 for local charities.
ND Caring Foundation awarded DMF grant
The North Dakota Caring Foundation has received a $4,000 matching grant from Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo.
The grant will help support the foundation’s Caring for Children program, which provides access to primary and preventive health, dental and mental health care services for eligible children in North Dakota.
DMF matched $4,000 of the $12,506 Caring for Children raised during the Giving Hearts Day online fundraiser in February, for a total of $16,506.
