VIDEO: Historic piece of the White House finding home at Bonanzaville

WEST FARGO - Bonanzaville celebrated local Veterans last night, adding a piece of history to the museum.

Paul Delleneva and his daughter Haley donated a brick from the original White House. Delleneva inherited the brick from his great-uncle, who worked as an electrician for the federal government.

At tonight's Memorial Celebration, veterans passed the brick around before handing it off to the museum.

"One of the things Haley and I discussed is once it's put away, nobody's really going to be able to touch it, and we have a lot of veterans in our area that are going to be here tonight," Paul Delleneva said.

"Veterans have fought for this country and they have fought for what this brick represents. This is our house. This is the White House," said Troy White, Bonanzaville Executive director.

The brick was given to Paul's uncle after a renovation at the White House in the 1950s.
