More details emerge about ‘Fargo’ TV project

The Hollywood Reporter also reported that Adam Bernstein, an Emmy Award-winning director, will direct “Fargo’s” first episode.

Bernstein, who has directed shows including “Breaking Bad” and “Rescue Me,” won an Emmy for an episode of “30 Rock.”

Additionally, though the “Fargo” miniseries is still in early stages of production, it appears that it will have a different storyline than that of the 1996 film by Minnesota natives Joel and Ethan Coen.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the show will follow “a new case, complete with new characters and the ‘Minnesota nice’ made famous by the Academy Award-nominated feature.”

Production begins on the show this fall.
