Moorhead construction to start TuesdayMOORHEAD – Work along Highway 10 and Highway 75 here will expand starting Tuesday, weather permitting.
Crews will begin replacing the traffic signal at the intersection of Main Avenue and Sixth Street.
Traffic on Main Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Fifth Street and Seventh Street. Traffic on Sixth Street will use temporary stop signs and may not make left turns in the area where crews are working.
Pedestrians should also expect sidewalk detours.
Signal work is also expected to begin on Center Avenue at 14th Street with lane closures at the intersection.
Additionally, crews will make pedestrian accessibility improvements in:
• Southbound Eighth Street between 10th Avenue and 20th Avenue.
• Northbound Eighth Street between Main Avenue and 10th Avenue.
• Northbound Eighth Street between 30th Avenue and 40th Avenue.
Crews will complete other improvements along Highway 10 and Highway 75 in phases throughout the summer.
