Fire destroys ND Department of Transportation dump truck in FargoFARGO – Fire destroyed a North Dakota Department of Transportation dump truck in south Fargo early this morning.
When the Fargo Fire Department responded to a report of a possible vehicle fire at a DOT facility at 503 38th St. S., firefighters found the cabin and engine compartment of a dump truck fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was quickly knocked down and stopped from spreading to other trucks and equipment parked nearby.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $75,000.
