’80s rockers The Cult play The Venue

FARGO – Rock band The Cult will plug in at The Venue on Aug. 4 to play its best known album.

Twenty-six years after “Electric” introduced the British group to a mainstream American audience, the band is dusting off the disc and playing it in its entirety. The album includes the singles “Love Removal Machine” and “Wild Flower”.

A second set to the show will include selections from the group’s other albums, like 1985’s “Love” and 1989’s “Sonic Temple”.

Tickets for the ID-only, 8 p.m. show go on sale at noon on Friday for $28, or $30 on the day of the show.

Tickets are available at JadePresents.com, the Tickets300 box office, Sickies Garage, or by calling (866) 300-8300.
