Woman wanted by Fargo police for check fraud arrested
Kelly Tigerstrom, 39, who has no permanent address, was arrested for one count of felony forgery and felony possession of a controlled substance, Deputy Chief Pat Claus said in a news release.
Police alleged in a news release last week that Tigerstrom, also known as Shanna Hernon, had issued more than $800 in bad checks on an account for a fictitious business called Hernon Contractors.
A number of businesses came forward last week to report bad checks written by Tigerstrom and more criminal charges are expected, Claus said in the news release.
Tigerstrom was also arrested in December for writing a fraudulent check of more than $1,200 to buy jewelry at White Diamonds then allegedly trying to pawn it just down the road.
