Roberts Street outlet closes Tuesday for one-way conversion projectFARGO – Drivers traveling south on Roberts Street will not be able to access Eighth Street beginning Tuesday.
The Roberts Street southbound outlet to Eighth Street will close for two weeks as part of the project to convert two downtown roads – NP Avenue and First Avenue North – from one-way to two-way, according to a news release.
Detours will be in place.
The far left lane of NP Avenue will also close Tuesday between Seventh Street and Roberts Street, but drivers will still be able to turn north onto Roberts Street, the release said.
There will be some minor lane closures near the intersection of First Avenue North and Broadway starting Monday as crews install signals, the release said. Two lanes of traffic will remain open on First Avenue during this construction.
