NDSU records doubleheader sweep with pair of walk-offs

FARGO – North Dakota State clinched a spot in the four-team Summit League baseball tournament after sweeping a doubleheader against Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne on Friday with a pair of walk-off hits.

John Skrbec’s two-run homer in the bottom of the 10th inning lifted the Bison past the Mastodons 4-2 in Game 1.

Jon Hechtner hit an RBI single with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning in NDSU’s 4-3 victory in the second game.
